Xiaomi has launched its first Notebook —— Mi Notebook Air. The Mi Notebook Air comes in two size, the powerful 13.3-inch model and the portable 12.5-inch model. Both are very slim with no exterior logos. Now, let’s have a look at Mi Notebook Air unboxing pictures.

Trial experience
Both models are very slim and lightweight. The touchpad is very smooth and responsive. The key travel on both Mi Notebook Air models are longer than New Mac book. The boot time is very fast, especially the Mi Notebook Air 13.3″. Because Mi Notebook Air 13.3″ is equipped with PCIe×4 NVMe SSD, its boot time is very fast and programs runs at lightning speeds.

Xiaomi unveiled its first Windows 10 notebook today, the Mi notebook air. The Mi Notebook Air comes in two size, the powerful 13.3-inch model and the portable 12.5-inch model. Both are very slim, in-fact thinner and lighter than the current gen MacBook Air models from Apple. Coming to common features on both, a 1080p display with a slim under-glass bezels, a 1MP webcam underneath, USB Type-C charging port, a backlit keyboard, thin metal build in gold and silver, with the flagship model costing just 4999 Yuan or about $750.

The 13.3-inch Mi Notebook Air runs on the Intel Core i5-6200U processor (Turbo to 2.7GHz) with a 13.3-inch 1080p display powered by NVIDIA GeForce 940MX (1GB DDR5 RAM) graphics. There’s 8GB DDR4 Memory onboard, 256GB SSD storage via PCle and another SATA slot for storage expansion. There’s a 40Wh battery inside the 14.8mm thin shell (weighing 1.28 Kg) which supports fast charging, and can get the MI Notebook Air to 50% charge in just half an hour. The battery is slated to last 9.5 hours with normal usage.

As for the 12.5-inch Mi Notebook Air, It is slimmer and lighter than the 13.3-inch model at just 12.9mm in thickness weighing 1.07Kg. It runs on the Intel Core M3 processor with integrated graphics, 4GB RAM, 128GB SSD storage with one free PCIe slot to expand it. This one has 1 USB 3.0 port and an HDMI port for connecting it to a display. Even though the 12.5-inch Mi Notebook Air is thinner than the 13.3-inch model you still get 2 hours more battery life, thanks to the more power efficient Core M3 chip.

Both Mi notebook air models adopt the laminated display to reduce glare, and edge-to-edge glass protection, apart from a full-sized keyboard with backlit keys and a 1.3mm stroke depth. In terms of connectivity, the Mi Notebook Air offers two USB 3.0 ports, one HDMI, one 3.5mm audio jack, and a USB-C port. In addition to this, both Mi Notebook Air models feature Mi Cloud Sync, letting users sync their phone contacts, messages, gallery, notes, and other data.

Another feature that is worth mention is “unlock with Mi Band 2”. Mi Notebook Air supports Bluetooth 4.1 automatically unclocks when you are near. Users can also personalize their Mi Notebook Air laptops with official sticker accessories for the hood. Accessories include a Leather Sleeve.
