Asus has launched a new 4GB RAM 64GB ROM variant of the ZenFone 2 ZE551ML, priced about $430, with the 64bit Intel Z3580 quad core 2.3GHz processor seen in lower-end ZenFone 2 models. As with other Asus ZenFone 2 smartphones,the new model is also available via Geekbuying.
The Asus Zenfone 2 measures in at 152.5 x 77.2 x 10.9mm in size, with Gorilla Glass 3. It comes sporting a 5.5-inch FHD IPS display, with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels and 403 pixels-per-inch (PPI) and small enough bezels that 72-percent of the front is display. It packs 4GB of RAM – the most of any smartphone at this point – 64GB of internal memory, with a microSD card slot for expansion of an additional 64GB. The processor is a 64-bit Intel Atom Z3580 quad-core clocked at 2.3GHz and for the GPU they use the PowerVR G6430. A non-removable 3000mAh battery supplies the power.
